We are currently recruiting for a leading UK design and build contractor, known for its consistent success in delivering projects to the highest standards.
As a result, the business now boasts a rich and diverse spread of clients and vertical markets which has seen them top over 100 million this year for the first time. Other divisions include international.

They deliver standout Cat A and Cat B projects for top-tier clients across commercial, workplace, landlord, public sector, and life sciences sectors—always pushing for excellence, innovation, and impact. They are actively seeking a Design Manager.
Project specific requirements.
- A wide range of project / package experience including fit out and internals, facades, external works
- Capable of managing numerous CDP packages in line with programme.
With a strong understanding of the design management function within a main contractor
organisation you will be able to lead the design process from cradle to grave. You will have a
technical design background and be a problem solving decision maker.
You will be an excellent communicator across all levels and be able to negotiate with both clients and supply chain teams.
With an excellent eye for detail, you will be passionate about quality and good design whilst
understanding contractual obligations. You will play an active role in managing sub-contractors,
sub-consultants and the client team to ensure responsibilities are met without
exposing the business to unnecessary health and safety or delay risk.
Being a proactive multitasker, you will be capable of prioritising activities both for yourself and
others, working to tight deadlines and doing what is necessary to ensure the success of your project.
