Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 + package

We are currently looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a nationwide hotel framework, working across a fast-paced portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

This is a 360° Quantity Surveying role, providing exposure from pre-construction through to project completion, with responsibility for managing individual projects commercially.

The Role

• Full commercial responsibility for individual projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Projects typically valued at around £750k and generally below £1m

• Nationwide scope, including regular site visits across the UK

• Commercial management and client/account management

• Working within tight programmes and a fast-paced delivery environment

• Managing costs, valuations, variations, forecasting and final accounts

• Building and maintaining strong client and supply-chain relationships

• Supporting the wider framework and contributing to its continued success

Working Pattern

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, typically:

• 1–2 days WFH

• 2 days office-based

• 1–2 days on site, depending on project requirements and travel

About You

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate QS who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and operating in a commercially focused, fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main fit out contractor

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Excellent client and account management skills

• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• A proactive, hands-on approach and strong communication skills

• Flexibility to travel nationally for site visits

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
