seeks a Senior Site Manager working under an existing Project manager to manage one of 3/4 elements of work on a £80 million high end leisure project in Northampton. This could be Refurbishing a Period Building,“Tree houses / holiday huts’, a central hub and restaurant area or Infrastructure / Ground works.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess a deep understanding of construction processes, be proficient in site management, and have a strong background in delivering technical solutions within the construction industry.
This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be one who is appropriately qualified.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, scheduling workers, and ensuring that work is being carried out to meet the project's goals and specifications.
Managing health and safety on site, including implementing safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines, and promoting a safe working environment.
Communicating with project stakeholders, including the client, architects, engineers, and other team members, to ensure that everyone is up-to-date on project progress and any issues that arise.
Managing quality control, including ensuring that work is carried out to the required standards and specifications and identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed.
Managing site documentation, including maintaining accurate records of work carried out, material deliveries, and any other project-related documents.
Leading and managing site teams, including providing training, mentoring, and support to team members and promoting a positive and productive working environment.
