seeks a Senior Site Manager working under an existing Project manager to manage one of 3/4 elements of work on a £80 million high end leisure project in Northampton. This could be Refurbishing a Period Building,“Tree houses / holiday huts’, a central hub and restaurant area or Infrastructure / Ground works.

The ideal candidate should:
Possess a deep understanding of construction processes, be proficient in site management, and have a strong background in delivering technical solutions within the construction industry.  
This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be one who is appropriately qualified.
 

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, scheduling workers, and ensuring that work is being carried out to meet the project's goals and specifications.

  • Managing health and safety on site, including implementing safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines, and promoting a safe working environment.

  • Communicating with project stakeholders, including the client, architects, engineers, and other team members, to ensure that everyone is up-to-date on project progress and any issues that arise.

  • Managing quality control, including ensuring that work is carried out to the required standards and specifications and identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed.

  • Managing site documentation, including maintaining accurate records of work carried out, material deliveries, and any other project-related documents.

  • Leading and managing site teams, including providing training, mentoring, and support to team members and promoting a positive and productive working environment.
