Long Established market leader operation in high end resi and 5 star hotel verticles seeks a Commercial Director.

Technical Ability

•          Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, Construction Management and bespoke Trade Contracts).

•          Excellent working knowledge of cost reporting, CVR reporting, procurement systems, subcontract management using various software platforms

•          Excellent understanding of contract administration, commercial risk management, claims and dispute resolution.

•          Strong understanding of project delivery, estimating, design, procurement and operational processes within a high paced fit out contractor environment

Role / Purpose / Overview

To lead and manage the commercial function across the business, ensuring the successful financial and contractual delivery of all projects whilst supporting the company's strategic objectives. To provide leadership, direction and governance to the commercial team, driving commercial performance, improving processes and ensuring consistency across all projects both in Pre-Construction and Construction.

The Head of Commercial shall work closely with the Heads of Departments to maximise profitability, manage commercial risk and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. To always represent the company professionally whilst promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the business.
