Design Manager 24167

D&B

Bid stage

Stage 3

TBC
/Yearly

Feering, Essex

The role would involve working alongside our DM or with a CM to manage and co-ordinate the design on construction projects. Our design responsibilities vary according to contract formation and the stage of design we are contracted to undertake. It could be Stage 3 onwards or purely final construction details with CDPs. There is a move more towards full D&B responsibility on many projects even small refurbishment schemes and I would say that most schemes are now D&B.

We are only a small company but have ambition to continue to steadily grow. We have an excellent reputation and are financially sound. Our work covers various sectors such as Education, Universities, Health, Blue Light and Commercial often on heritage buildings.

The role would be based in Feering, Essex - although our projects are throughout the SE and London. We have a small shared office in London.

  • Involvement at bid stage in checking information, gap analysis and designer briefs and co-ordination to make sure of bid is clearly defined.

  • Management of the design process including surveys and validation.
