Job Overview:

Our client is a diverse group of businesses offering tailored property construction and development services through a portfolio of specialist companies.

These include Construction, Interiors, M&E, and Joinery delivering across commercial, residential, education, industrial and hospitality projects in the UK and Europe.

Clients include investment companies, private and public organisations, and high-net-worth individuals. Notable successes have been with on of London’s most prestigious Private Developers across the city, midtown and Mayfair.

All delivered via a lean, agile and client friendly main contractor solution engaged early often just post planning consent that has historically out-manovered larger competitors with its unique value proposition.

We seek an Entrepreneurial Leader in a construction vertical who exemplifies the company’s and congruently owners’ beliefs and values to re vitalise his construction business.

That vertical could be healthcare, commercial, industrial, or something new and London or national. BUT importantly the right candidate will be able to bring negotiated or softly tendered work through the door. Work without layers of governance. Work with margin in it for long term clients that have values and objectives that are again in sync with Group.

Keeping that work risk mitigated, cash positive and margin maximised whilst maintaining relationships.

Hiring appropriately and cost effectively and delivering with long term supply chain relationships who won’t let the business down. You could be working for a distressed business with incomplete programs / half-built sites to bring..  

Expectations are £10 million of orders in the first 12 months and pretty consistently after that but not topping over £30-40 million a year.

We don’t want to be a McLaren.. Visibility from the leaders directly to the sites is key to the long term success of this..

We seek a hands on deal maker with existing supply chain relationships up and down the chain, staff who will follow and essential experience across every department.
