They seek a Senior Project Manager as No1 on site working under an existing Divisional Director to take over a £50 million fitout refurb Project. The existing team is established and been there from the start, you will be gel between Design team, commercials team, MEP, Planner and Construction managers.

The Ideal Candidate:

Possess a deep understanding of construction processes, be proficient in programing, and have a strong background in delivering technical solutions within the construction industry.  
This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure the successful execution of projects. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be one who is appropriately qualified, has a demonstratable track recorded in procuring successful bids for jobs, and are willing and able to regularly be on a projects site when required. 
You must be able to program and have excellent report writing capabilities, string attention to detail, thorough in processes ad systems and ideally have new build and refurb background.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a Construction role with a focus on Fit-Out works.
• Have a good understanding of construction contracts.
• Lead the project delivery teams to successfully complete the scope of works for the Client.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery using acquired skills and knowledge.
• Work with the commercial and site teams to maintain accurate site records.
• Produce progress/status reports both for internal and client use.
• Arrange and co-ordinate site surveys and prepare construction documentation for the Commercial team
• Request and review quotes/tenders from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Have commercial awareness and the ability to manage projects using construction management software.
• Assist with material selection, procurement and supply chain management.
• Plan and allocate correct labour resources for self-delivery elements of projects and liaise with the operatives directly to communicate.
• Actively monitor project sites to ensure safe management and delivery is CDM compliant.
• Provide governance to ensure all key aspects of project delivery including health and safety, quality,
compliance, sustainability and security are maintained to the highest possible standards.
• Assist with producing programmes of work, monitor & report progress against the programme.
• Assist with producing Health & Safety (SSOW), Quality, Compliance and Handover documents.
• Produce regular management status and performance reports.
• Ensure management and operatives hold the appropriate prerequisite training and security clearance to
suit the project requirements.
