We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager / Preconstruction Director to join one of our Key Client’s and take full ownership of the preconstruction process across high-value commercial fit-out projects.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven construction professional with extensive experience delivering complex and high-value projects.


You'll be responsible for leading the preconstruction process, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, managing tender submissions, and ensuring projects are successfully transitioned into delivery. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership of opportunities, build client confidence, and drive projects through the tender stage to signed contract.
Requirements

• Proven experience within Design & Build commercial fit-out projects

• Strong preconstruction, bidding, estimating, or commercial management background

• Experience managing projects valued at £2m+

• Ability to take ownership of multiple tenders and opportunities simultaneously

• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction process from enquiry through to contract award

• Manage and coordinate tender submissions and bid teams

• Work closely with clients, consultants, designers, and supply chain partners

• Review project costs, programmes, risks, and opportunities

• Drive value engineering and commercial solutions

• Support business development activities and client engagement

• Ensure a seamless handover to the construction team following contract award
