Job Description

Intermediate Estimator, ideally with Estimating experience within Super Prime Resi/Luxury Hotels, this is not essential, but you MUST have experience with estimating interior fitout projects. Ideally estimated with a main contractor or large sub-contractor pricing multi-trade packages.

Our portfolio spans prime residential, commercial, hospitality, luxury fit-out, and new build developments, primarily across central London and major UK cities.

Role Overview

They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Estimator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile tenders across a diverse mix of fit out projects within the Luxury Hotel, Super Prime Residential and High End Hospitality Sector.

They welcome applications from individuals with experience in Fit-out and the Luxury Residential Market. 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, architectural drawings, and specifications to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates.

• Collaborate with internal teams (design, commercial, and delivery) to understand project scope, programme, and technical details.

• Prepare document package packs to share with respective sub-contractors.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers across all relevant trades.

• Prepare and present cost plans, Bills of Quantities, and tender returns with clear pricing breakdowns.

• Participate in internal reviews, pre-tender meetings, and post-tender negotiations.

• Assist with value engineering, programme allowances, and risk assessments during tender stages.

• Maintain a strong understanding of market rates, construction methodologies, and procurement trends.

• Contribute to the seamless handover from pre-construction to project delivery teams.

Experience & Skills Required

• 3 years of estimating experience in Fit-out or the Luxury Residential Market.

• A sound understanding of construction processes and pricing across multiple trades and packages.

• Knowledge of joinery, interior finishes, and/or specialist fit-out is advantageous.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Highly numerate, organised, and able to manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines.

• Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• CSCS card preferred but not essential.
