Job Description

Quantity Surveyor required to work 50% in Europe ad 50% in London for a 4 year data centre project.

Responsibility

They seek a Quantity Surveyor to join a project which will be commencing it’s 6th Phase, based in the Netherlands, working directly with their client.  There will be a further 3 phases to be completed taking the overall project length to June 2029.

Each phase has an 18-month program with a 6 month overlap at the start of every project, meaning you will be looking after 3 projects at any one time.  Each Data centre has a value of £16 million, making the overall project responsibility value of £62 million.

The role will require you to work 50% in the Netherlands and 50% In London, based in Fenchurch Street.  Reporting into the European Commercial Director.

Travel and accommodation in the Netherlands will be covered.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience, not necessarily within the logistics space, but with transferable skills and be able to be involved in the procurement, final accounts settlement, all in-house labour, be confident to liaise directly with the client and any subcontractors.

Key Attributes & Qualities:

• BSC Quantity Surveying. 

• HND / HNC Quantity surveying. 

• IT Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). 

• Commercial sound and able to work o own Initiative

• Previous Quantity surveying of at least 2 years

• Be able to split time between the Netherlands and London on a weekly basis Is critical
