Seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable leading UK principal contractor, based in London 

Responsibility

• We are currently recruiting for a leading UK principal contractor, a prominent player in the design

  and build and traditional markets known for its consistent success in delivering projects to the

  highest standards.

  
  

  The Traditional arm of the business is actively seeking a dynamic Junior Quantity Surveyor/

  Commercial Assistant to manage the day-to-day management of a new national account across

  large hotel framework. The scope of work involves, serving one large hotel chain across London and

  the UK, dealing with the same supply chain throughout each project, each with a fast track

  programme turning each location around on average across 6 weeks. 

  
  

  
  

  They Seek

  • Have a proven track record of successfully commercial delivery across the fast-track refurbishment sector

  • Typically, you will have background working with a similar large-scale hotel / restaurant chain

  • Demonstrate the ability to confidently and proactively complete schedule or rates and converting schedules 

  • Ability to manage and delivery across a national framework account 

  • Recommending and critiquing sub-contractors and managing relationships

  • Work with the operations team with pre-start planning and programming 

  • Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts

  • Measuring, submit variations and submit final accounts 

  • Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated project.
