About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our Landlord Team within a leading Design & Build contractor. You will be responsible for delivering multiple commercial fit-out projects, ranging from £500k to £3 million, with a strong focus on Category A fit-outs and numerous Cat B projects.

You will oversee the project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion, including programming, subcontractor management, and commercial oversight. This role demands a strong understanding of building services and experience with MS Project to maintain effective delivery timelines across multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple D&B fit-out projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

• Develop and manage project programmes using MS Project, updating timelines and reporting progress.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to manage expectations and ensure project alignment with client objectives.

• Manage and oversee subcontractors, with specific attention to building services packages (mechanical, electrical, and public health).

• Provide commercial input including assessing subcontractor costs, variations, and handling client-led changes.

• Review and manage project documentation including RAMS, design information, and subcontractor scope of works.

• Support procurement and contribute to package management.

• Lead on-site meetings, track project progress, and manage health & safety in line with CDM regulations.

• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accurate project reporting and forecasting.

  
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a D&B contractor environment, ideally with landlord works.

• Track record managing commercial fit-out projects in the £500k to £3m range.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Category A and B fit-outs

• Solid understanding of building services (M&E) and experience managing associated subcontractors.

• Competency in using MS Project for programming and scheduling.

• Strong commercial acumen and experience in assessing subcontractor costs and managing client variations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
