Job Overview:
Looking for a Project Manager to join a refurbishment and interiors specialist in London, with outstanding track record in delivering high quality CAT A and CAT B projects
Job Description:
A Project Manager to lead a £8m single stage design and build structural refurbishment project in the heart of Bromley Kent, across a 12 month period.
Looking for a leader to drive the project, with the ability to produce progress reports, update programs and put together extension of time strategies and have client facing skills, chairing meetings.
Our Client is a refurbishment and interiors specialist in London, whose work is driven by collaboration and creativity. Creating innovative spaces across multiple sectors; commercial, education, health, retail and hospitality.
Our Client has an outstanding team with a solid track record for consistently delivering high quality CAT A and CAT B projects.
Project sizes are diverse with project values up to £10million to £25 million and typically tendering against the likes of Waterlily, Collins, Faithdean and Red and 8 Build in the heavier refurbishment arena. But honestly of the £50 million they achieved this year with £40 million of orders carried into next, 90% of it is reasonably gutsy cut and carve. Scopes typically incorporate commercial office space CAT A and B fit outs, installation of additional floors.
The Ideal Candidate would:
Have experience running simultaneous refurbishment and fit out projects in the range of £2m to £10m
Driving programmes via the delivery team. Not accepting slippage or excuses.
Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and managers to report on progress
Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
Reporting to clients and board members on project progress
Driving performance against agreed criteria
Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
Dealing with contract disputes and mitigating the impact of any issues
Working in an office and on a construction site.
