We are currently recruiting for a leading UK high end fitout and refurb company, a prominent player in the Hotel & High-End Residential field.  They can deliver on all aspects of a fit-out project and have worked with a host of prestigious clients.
Our client is looking for an experienced Lead/Senior Design Manager to join the design team ASAP.  They are open on background if you have strong high end fit-out experience.  This role does come with career progression to becoming the Head of Design.

They Seek

• Experience of working within the construction design sector as either architect, interior designer or design manager within the commercial office, high end retail, hospitality or leisure sectors.

•  Work “hand in hand” with the pre-construction estimating team to hand over to the commercial and construction phase delivery teams

•  Review the design proposals for potential VE opportunities that could be offered.

• All Construction issued drawings to be checked for completeness and compliance with the specifications.

• Review works on site for both quality and compliance

• Work with the Technical Services Managers to ensure full co-ordination is managed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Work closely with the client design team throughout the process to ensure compliance to the ERs and specification and that once established those relationships are maintained for future projects.

• Assist, where required, with the snagging process and record findings through the Procore Document control process. Post construction
