Our client works across the High End Residential, Education, Arts & Leisure, and Commercial Office sectors, including heavy refurbishment, new build and fit out. They work in different business streams, catering for projects ranging anywhere from £8m through to £70m+. Even in the current market conditions, they are continuing to look at ways in which they can offer a unique service to their clients and stand out.
They have recently secured a £25 million Fit Out Project for a prominent developer in London. This entails a live 65,000 sq. ft, 5-storey Office Fit Out, including cut and carve operations. Presently, they are in search of a Project Manager to lead this venture from inception to completion, spanning 65 weeks. The ideal candidate must possess a demonstrable track record in overseeing projects of matching value and scope. The assignment includes the construction of 2 new atrium infills, implementation of new brickwork, and installation of a striking feature staircase.

They are currently in search of a Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project. This involves a comprehensive fitout of a vacant five-story building, which includes two atrium infills and is currently underway.
In this role, you will oversee leading a team consisting of two Contract Managers, two Quantity Surveyors, and a Planner. The ideal candidate must possess prior experience in office fitouts and demonstrate operational acumen to effectively execute the outlined scope of works.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and oversee the day-to-day operations of fit out and refurbishment projects.
Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop project plans.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate and supervise the work of sub-contractors and other team members.
Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that project goals are met.
Maintaining and updating project documentation including health and safety, as well as quality records
20 weeks PCSA.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a project manager on fit out and refurbishment projects.
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications.
Experience in budgeting and cost management
Experience with project management software and tools
Holds valid First Aid certificates.
Have experience in the design process, understanding and documenting specific client requirements and work with the inhouse design team to evolve a project design.
Production of technical documentation for pitch / tender submissions
Communicating and collaborating with our team to integrate / align services design with the sub-contractors to ensure building and fit out requirements are aligned.
Reviewing MEP subcontractor costs and design submissions and communicating with the supply chain to provide professional excellence and best value.

Attending meetings; presenting ideas and progress reports to both colleagues and clients
Advising clients on how the building services will operate once the building is complete.
