Our client is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor for a Specialist Brick and Blockwork Sub contractor for London Projects.

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of brickwork and masonry projects. Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, the successful candidate will assist with cost control, valuations, procurement, subcontractor management, and final accounts while developing their commercial knowledge within the construction industry.
 

Essential

• Degree, HNC/HND, or currently studying Quantity Surveying or a related construction qualification.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience in construction, either through placement, apprenticeship, or employment.

• Knowledge of brickwork, masonry, or subcontracting.

• Understanding of construction contracts (JCT and NEC).

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or quantity take-off software.
